ASTAXANTHINE

ASTAXANTHIN
Astaxanthin is a remarkably powerful antioxidant, with properties that have generated significant interest. Studies suggest it may be up to 800 times more effective than vitamins E and C, without the risk of pro-oxidation even when consumed in excess. It also has potent anti-inflammatory effects, playing a key role in managing various chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Its potential as an anti-aging agent is also promising.
However, some reports mention possible side effects, such as impacts on bleeding, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and estrogenic effects. There are different forms of astaxanthin available, including liposomal forms and Valasta, a popular but more expensive version, often associated with impressive recovery stories, especially in oncology.
Recommended doses typically range between 2 and 12 mg per day. However, some products offer tablets up to 24 mg, with instructions suggesting 2 tablets per day.
In light of this largely positive feedback, I personally tried a daily dose of 12 mg, and the results were remarkable. I experienced a true rejuvenation, with improved joint mobility. While my experience is anecdotal and not scientific, I am now a believer in astaxanthin's benefits. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
